This is a Man's World...But it Would Be Nothing Without a WOMAN!!

 

 

James Brown (R.I.P.) may have been on to something with this classic🎵🎵.  He starts by saying it is a man’s 👨world but quickly corrects himself lol (👩).  Growing up, if you would have asked me who is the strongest 💪person in the Daniel’s household; without hesitation I would have yelled my pops, Wesley Daniel.  I mean he was the oldest male in his family (3^rd born), been working all his life, and has that “country strength” lol.  Not to mention he put fear 😨into my heart daily (I still do not test him to this day) lol.  I was not about to play around with Wesley. However, now that I am older, I realized that true strength wise my pops was unmatched, but the strongest in the household was actually my favorite lady, Mary “Big Red” Daniel. When I look back and think about all she did daily without a complaint, it was nothing but strength that got her through each day.  With me alone, she had school, sports, social activities, etc. and she still had to do things around the house.  I do not know how she managed it all with a smile every day! The older I got the more I realized how vital the women in my life were at molding and pushing me. I also, noticed that every important woman in my life was just as strong as Big Red and Nig (grandma). This week’s post is not about bashing adulthood (which I still hate lol) as much as it is about appreciation for women.  Since March is Women’s History Month, I figured I would send some love to the backbones of the families! Also, Young Trellie really did not know much; then again Trellie Trell Da PE does not know much either lol. I am still learning though!! I was going to start naming a few women, but I did not want to get attacked if I left off someone lol.  

That being said, to all the women reading this blog, YOU ARE AMAZING!!
