"Take a Nap” & “Eat Your Vegetables”, does
these statements sound familiar? They should
because it was told to us daily growing up, along with other commands. Back then, I thought these were capital
punishments. One could even go so far as
say this was considered “childhood life sentences” lol. No child ever wants to take
a nap or eat veggies; bring us the junk food and let us stay up all night! It
is crazy how life changes when you get older lol. The same punishments I opposed as a child,
Trellie Trell endorses as an adult lol. “Take
a Nap”, sure where is my pillow lol? “Eat
Your Vegetables”, sure what we eating broccoli, squash, or beans? As an adult, the very things I rebelled as a
youngster, I get excited for these days.
Vice versa, the same things I used to get excited for (going out,
staying up late, etc.), I protest nowadays lol. I can recall on weekends or
summer breaks; I did not want to be anywhere near or in my house. Now look at me on Saturdays crying if I must
leave the house for anything lol. With adulthood
comes much responsibility and that responsibility brings a busy schedule. I just love to enjoy those childhood “punishments” (adulthood "goals") whenever I can. Some things have not
changed since my childhood days though.
Can you believe that my parents still give me commands lol? Of course, I
am going to abide but come on when does the hammer end lol. FYI, the title for this blog came to me from
a soap opera that stayed on the TV whenever I was growing up. I thought it was fitting for this topic,
since tables have turned in adulthood. Also,
I hated the show growing up; adulthood Trellie would catch myself lingering on
a few episodes 🙊. I know you already know but, I HATE IT HERE😆😑!!!

Big Facts! If I can, I'm taking tht nap!
