❄Snow Days❄

  So originally, this week’s topic was going to be about Valentime’s 💓(🤣) Day and how it changed over the years.  Then this winter storm hit the Southern region and my inspiration changed lol.  Snow Days growing up were awesome.  It is the only days I would wake up early and actually turn the news on; only to see if my school were closed lol.  Most times, it was not 😭. Oh, but the times we were out, and it snowed (like this week’s events), it was crazy fun. One thing, we never had the proper winter clothes lol.  I remember using socks as gloves 🤣.  No school or homework since we did not have all the technological advances students have these days. Most importantly it was a vacation day that was not planned.  Fast forward to adulthood 🙄, and snow days just do not feel the same lol.  First off, the job does not care what is going on outside❄⛆🌬, you better report to work lol. Secondly, why once you get older you start thinking and being responsible 🤦? As a kid, I never cared about storing food, flashlights/candles, or having power. However, Adult Trellie worries about all of that.  It could be because I also work in the power field and do not want to do emergency work lol.  Another thing, Young Trell could stay out all day in the cold days.  Nowadays, I have to go out in waves.  Need to go back inside to warm up these bones lol.  Snows days used to be epic, now they suck lol; I HATE IT HERE!!
