Summer, Summer, SUMMERTIME!!

Summertime!  The greatest season of our childhood! Do you remember the last few weeks of school (elementary or middle school)? I do and boy it was great!! Schoolwork or "Lesson Plan", as the teachers called it, was done so it was mainly movie days, field days, & field trips. Did a lot of my summer plotting during this time period lol. With all my “wishing I was grown” talk, I never took the time to deeply appreciate the summers off. Even in college, you could not pay me to go to summer school. I needed my break. Summers where the best months of my life growing up. I could stay at any cousin's house who allowed me to come over and play all day and night. No rules tying us down, other than being home before the streetlights came on of course lol. It was the best days of my life. Now in adulthood, we get no summers off; no two weeks for Christmas/New Years; hell, we do not even get a Spring Break or week for Thanksgiving 😭. All we get is 80 hours
of paid vacation and about 8-10 Holidays. That is wack!! HOA fees in this hood are ridiculous lol.  I recommend bypassing Adulthood!
